Maintenance & troubleshooting.

Guidance for WAA whole-house POE and under-sink POU systems. Have your model, installation date and last filter-change date ready when contacting support.

After installation or a filter change

For the POE and under-sink RO systems covered by the WAA guide, run normal house taps for a few minutes and flush the RO tank at least twice. Follow any model-specific instructions supplied with your system.

Whole-house filtration

Air can become trapped in the pipework after installation or a filter change. If it persists, or you see solid particles rather than bubbles, contact support.

Isolate the affected system if safe to do so and contact WAA. Note where the water appears and keep supporting photos ready.

Loaded filters can reduce flow. Record the pressure-gauge reading and when the filters were last changed. Contact support to check the next step. The service guide includes the whole-house bypass demonstration.

Under-sink reverse osmosis

RO flow is lower than a normal tap. If the flow is only a dribble, check whether the tank has had time to fill. If a full tank still gives very low flow, contact support.

New installations can release trapped air. If the appearance persists or you are unsure whether you are seeing air or solid material, contact support for assessment.

Flush the tank according to your model instructions. The WAA guide for these tank-based RO systems recommends at least two flushes. If the taste persists, contact support.

Tank-based RO systems produce drain water during refilling. The original WAA guide notes that filling can take 3–4 hours. If drainage continues unexpectedly or the tank does not fill, contact support with your model details.

Some operating noise can occur. If the noise is new, unusually loud or persistent, note when it happens and contact support. Avoid dismantling the system.
