Choosing the right WAA system
Whole-house (POE) filtration treats water where it enters your home, for drinking, cooking, showers and everyday use. Benchtop and under-sink RO systems (POU) serve one point in the kitchen. Many homes combine the two, and our team can help you match a setup to your water source, routine and space.
How do I choose between whole-house, under-sink RO and benchtop?
Start with what you want to change. Whole-house filtration covers water throughout the home. Under-sink RO adds dedicated filtration at the kitchen sink, with the system out of sight below the bench. Benchtop models add features such as hot, chilled, sparkling, hydrogen-rich water or bullet ice. Features vary by model.
Can I combine whole-house filtration with a benchtop or under-sink system?
Yes. You can pair whole-house filtration with your choice of benchtop features or under-sink RO, and ask about bundle savings. Not every household needs both: whole-house filtration already covers drinking and cooking water. Under-sink RO can add a separate treatment stage at the kitchen where a specific treatment goal calls for it.
Is there a difference for town water and rainwater?
Yes. For mains water, RILL™ Whole House uses three-stage filtration to help reduce sediment and chlorine-related taste and odour. For suitable tank-water supplies, a four-stage configuration combines pre-filtration with UV treatment. We assess your water source, flow and installation needs before quoting.
Do I need a plumber, and how do quotes work?
Whole-house systems are quoted for your home. You can request a free online quote, get phone advice, or book a free in-home quote where our local service coverage allows. WAA can arrange installation where available, or help you plan a supply-only purchase with your licensed plumber. We confirm the installation scope and any extra site costs before work begins.
Do benchtop systems need permanent plumbing?
It depends on the model. The RILL™ Benchtop 5 in 1 Hydrogen uses a refillable tank, so no permanent plumbing changes are needed. Sparkling Pro can be tank-fed or, where suitable, plumbed in. Under-sink RO is installed beneath the sink with a dedicated tap or a compatible mixer.
Can I see the systems in person?
Yes. Visit our showrooms in Perth (Canning Vale), Sydney (Seven Hills), Melbourne (Laverton North) or Brisbane (Acacia Ridge) for a free consultation with no obligation to buy. Request a visit and the local team will confirm a time. Photos of your meter, kitchen or installation area help.
