F1 Who handles your information
LIQI TRADING PTY LTD, ABN 34 622 587 437, trading as Water Analytics Australia, handles personal information for its enquiries, sales, installation, filter supply, warranty, Life Care and referral activities. This policy explains those activities and how to contact us about privacy.
Contact the Privacy Officer at admin@wateranalytics.com.au, on 02 8528 4645, or at Unit 1, 132 Bannister Road, Canning Vale WA 6155. The privacy protections and rights required by applicable Australian law are not reduced by this policy.
F2 Information collected
Depending on your dealings with WAA, we collect customer and delivery details, quotations and orders, product models and serial numbers, installer details, installation and first-use dates, relevant site or fault photographs, replacement-filter purchase and actual maintenance records, supporting evidence and corrections, payment status, referral details, and service communications or complaints. Life Care records include PP supply, product-credit use, move-home requests and reasonable move evidence. Relevant order records may include the sales-rep code and attributed salesperson.
Payment and refund processing may require payment details through our payment services and bank details for a refund or referral reward. Do not send unnecessary card details, identity documents, health information or unrelated household information in an enquiry or photograph.
We collect information directly from you where practical, and may receive relevant information from an authorised agent, retailer, installer, payment provider or a referrer who has your permission. We may need to verify information to avoid an incorrect product, delivery, entitlement or payment.
Depending on how you deal with us, records may also include newsletter requests, social-media interactions you choose to share, public posts on a WAA forum, survey responses, product feedback, authorised representative communications and payment or account application information. We collect only information reasonably necessary for the activity, not every category from every customer.
Relevant information may come from publicly available sources or your authorised advisers where lawful and appropriate. If sensitive information is needed, we will explain why and obtain consent where required. Unrequested information is assessed and, if it cannot lawfully be retained, destroyed or de-identified as required.
F3 How information is used
We use relevant information to answer enquiries, prepare quotes, fulfil and service orders, handle payments, installation, delivery, warranty, Life Care and referral claims, and send relevant maintenance and safety communications. Our customer records support due-date calculations, eligibility reviews and prevention of duplicate benefit use. If a customer-facing replacement Activity facility becomes available, it will use actual replacement dates and the applicable maintenance history; customer service can handle those records separately.
You may request correction of your machine or entitlement records. Changes that affect registered ownership, installation or eligibility are reviewed by WAA staff rather than accepted as an automatic entitlement change.
Where practical, you may make a general enquiry without identifying yourself. We need identifying and transaction information to fulfil an order, make payments or verify a warranty or benefit. Not supplying necessary information may limit those services.
We may use appropriately collected information for internal administration, customer satisfaction, product research and development, service improvement and pricing analysis. Marketing or profiling that requires a separate consent is not authorised merely because the information was originally collected for warranty or fulfilment.
F4 Service providers and information sharing
We may share relevant information with providers that help us operate the website, customer records, forms, quotes and e-signatures, payments, communications, delivery, installation, technical service, professional advice and dispute handling. We limit disclosure to the purpose and take reasonable steps to protect the information.
We use Odoo for business and customer records, Wix and Shopify for website and online-sales services, PandaDoc for proposals and electronic documents, and our CRM developed using Lovable for customer and sales administration. Relevant service providers may process information needed for those functions. The platform used depends on the interaction. Brighte and humm handle payment-plan information under their own notices and agreements when you apply for their services.
We use Supabase to support our custom forms and customer-service workflows, including storing submitted details and uploaded photographs, videos and documents. Access to these records and attachments is restricted to authorised personnel and services for the relevant enquiry, registration or support request.
Where a form requires mobile verification, we use Twilio to send and check one-time SMS verification codes. This involves processing the mobile number and relevant verification, delivery and security information. Receiving a verification SMS is not consent to unrelated marketing.
Our technology providers operate internationally, so relevant information may be processed or accessed outside Australia. Their published processing arrangements include locations such as the United States, Canada, Singapore, Ireland, Israel and Sweden. The locations relevant to an individual record depend on the platform, hosting configuration, support access and enabled integrations; this is not a claim that every record is sent to every country.
We take the steps required by applicable law when disclosing information overseas. Contact the Privacy Officer for the overseas arrangements relevant to your information. Provider information is available at odoo.com/privacy, wix.com/about/privacy, shopify.com/legal/privacy, pandadoc.com/legal/privacy-notice and lovable.dev/privacy. These provider policies do not replace WAA's responsibility for its own handling of your information.
Further provider information is available in the Supabase Privacy Policy (supabase.com/privacy) and Twilio Privacy Notice (Twilio Privacy Notice). Relevant processing and overseas access depend on the service configuration and provider arrangements described above.
Relevant recipients may include delivery and service businesses, merchant and online-payment providers, communication or print providers, accountants, auditors, lawyers and other professional advisers. Disclosure for lawful debt recovery is limited to what is reasonably needed. This policy does not authorise credit-bureau reporting by default; any such activity requires its own lawful basis and applicable notices.
If a business restructure or proposed transfer of part or all of WAA requires access to relevant records, we take reasonable steps to limit disclosure, require confidentiality and protect the information. We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law, or with valid consent for the stated purpose.
F5 Website data and marketing
Our website and its providers may use cookies, similar technologies and analytics to operate pages, remember choices, understand usage and support permitted marketing. These technologies may collect device, browser, IP address, page and interaction information. We do not assume all such information is anonymous.
You may use available cookie controls and browser settings, although disabling some functions may affect the website. Third-party links have their own privacy practices.
Marketing messages are handled separately from essential order, payment, safety and service communications. Where consent is required, we obtain it. You may unsubscribe from marketing through the message or by contacting us. Warranty registration or a third party submitting your details is not blanket permission for all marketing.
Website information may include the referring page, browser and device details, IP address, cookie settings, pages viewed and interactions. The information collected depends on the features and analytics enabled on the page or service. Such records are not assumed to be anonymous. Where we use Google services, their privacy information is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
Use available website controls and browser settings to manage optional technologies. An enquiry, installation photograph, referral or warranty registration is not blanket permission for unrelated promotional contact. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop essential transaction or safety messages.
F6 Security and retention
We take reasonable measures to protect personal information against misuse, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Access is limited according to work responsibilities. No system can eliminate every security risk.
We retain information for legitimate operational and legal needs, including ongoing warranty and lifetime benefit records, financial records and dispute handling. When it is no longer needed and retention is not required by law, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it. Backup retention and restoration processes are managed consistently with those purposes.
Staff handling customer information are required to protect its confidentiality. Email and internet transmission cannot be guaranteed error-free or completely secure; use the nominated secure process for payment or other sensitive details. If a data incident occurs, WAA will assess it and notify affected people and regulators where required by law.
F7 Access corrections and complaints
Contact the Privacy Officer to request access, correction or to raise a privacy concern. We may reasonably verify your identity. We normally respond to an access request within 30 days and will explain if more time is reasonably needed, or if a lawful reason limits access or correction. We do not charge to make a request or to correct information; any lawful access charge will be explained in advance.
If you complain, explain what happened and the outcome you seek. We will investigate and aim to respond within 30 days, or explain why more time is needed. If you remain dissatisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where applicable, including through oaic.gov.au.
This policy is updated on 15 October 2026 to describe current handling practices. WAA will communicate material changes where appropriate. An update is not retrospective consent to an unrelated new use, and information collected under an earlier policy retains the protection of applicable promises and law.
If we refuse a requested correction, we will explain the reason where lawful and the available complaint process. You may ask us to associate a statement that the information is disputed with the record. Where required and practicable, we will notify relevant recipients of a correction at your request.
Information collected under an earlier policy remains protected by the promises and legal requirements applicable to that collection. A revised policy is not retrospective permission for a new, unrelated purpose. Where consent or further notice is required for a proposed change, WAA will obtain or provide it.
