CarbonWeave™

Good carbon is only the beginning. CarbonWeave™ brings carbon selection, pore structure and water contact together for carbon-based treatment of taste, odour and selected compounds.

Good carbon. A considered water path.

Activated carbon works when water reaches its useful surfaces. CarbonWeave™ holds carbon in a fixed, porous matrix, bringing the material and the path through it into one design. That structure supports adsorption while allowing water to flow through the cartridge.

Give water access to the carbon

As water moves through the cartridge, suitable dissolved compounds contact and attach to carbon surfaces. This process is called adsorption. Connected pores, particle bonding and cartridge seals help define the water path; carbon selection determines which treatment tasks the material can perform.

The structure inside the cartridge matters

Loose granular carbon relies on the arrangement of its media bed. A formed carbon block fixes particles into a porous structure. CarbonWeave™ uses a sintered matrix designed around carbon choice, accessible surfaces and water contact. The useful comparison is the finished cartridge’s treatment range, flow and capacity.

Four details behind the carbon stage

Material and structure work together in the cartridge you use at home.

Carbon selection

Choose carbon properties to suit the substances the cartridge is designed to treat.

Accessible pores

Connected spaces allow water to reach useful carbon surfaces.

Household flow

Match the cartridge to everyday demand, including taps running together.

Finished-cartridge testing

Assess the assembled cartridge at its intended flow and treatment volume.

One role in a complete water solution

Carbon handles appropriate adsorption tasks. Other treatment stages add their own strengths, according to the model.

SedriCore™

Captures sediment before it reaches the carbon stage.

CataCarbix™

Adds catalytic surface activity for chloramine treatment where specified.

Targeted media

Selected products add dedicated treatment for particular metals or PFAS.

Kitchen drinking water

Under-sink or benchtop treatment can complement whole-home filtration.

Built around everyday water use

From a morning shower to the kitchen tap, flow matters. We match the carbon stage to your water supply and the demand of the selected system.

CarbonWeave™ questions, answered

What does it target?

Taste, odour and selected compounds, according to the cartridge’s specifications.

Does it lower TDS?

Carbon generally leaves dissolved mineral salts in the water.

Is it woven carbon?

The name describes WAA’s carbon-matrix approach, not woven carbon fabric.

When do I replace it?

Follow the selected cartridge’s service guidance and your water conditions.
