Calcium and magnesium contribute to water hardness. Under conditions such as heating, minerals can form crystals and deposits. ScaleMorph™ works on that crystal-growth process while leaving most hardness minerals in the water.

Influence scale before it builds

Scale-control ingredients interact with developing mineral crystals and their growth sites. This interferes with the formation of strongly attached deposits. The result depends on the water chemistry, temperature, flow and condition of the cartridge.

Scale control or water softening?

ScaleMorph™ provides a phosphate-free route for managing mineral deposits, without salt regeneration. An ion-exchange softener removes hardness ions and usually requires salt and a regeneration cycle. Choose scale control to manage deposition; choose a suitable softener when your goal is a substantial reduction in hardness.
