RedoxFusion Banner – filtration concept

RedoxFusion™

Specific concerns deserve specific treatment. RedoxFusion™ matches specialist media to selected metals and arsenic, taking each substance’s chemistry, treatment location and cartridge capacity into account.

Start with the substance you want to treat

Lead and arsenic behave differently in water. RedoxFusion™ is WAA’s approach to selecting suitable capture media for a defined target. Depending on the material, treatment can involve adsorption, ion exchange or another verified mechanism.

RedoxFusion Capture sites – filtration concept

Dissolved substances need suitable capture sites

A sediment filter captures particles. Dissolved lead can require media that bind or exchange with lead species. Arsenic has different chemical forms, so its treatment depends on the form present and the surrounding water chemistry. The media must match the substance being treated.

RedoxFusion Beyond microns – filtration concept

Look beyond a micron number

A fine particle filter does not, by itself, establish treatment of dissolved lead or arsenic. Specialist media add a different role: chemical interactions with selected substances. Compare the named targets, finished cartridge, operating flow and treatment capacity when choosing a system.

A clearer route to specialist treatment

Identify the concern, then choose the media and the place to treat it.

RedoxFusion Identify substance – filtration concept

Identify the substance

Use relevant water information or testing to define the concern.

RedoxFusion Select media – filtration concept

Select suitable media

Match the capture mechanism to the target and its chemical form.

RedoxFusion Treatment point – filtration concept

Choose the treatment point

Consider where the substance enters your home’s water.

RedoxFusion Usable capacity – filtration concept

Check usable capacity

Assess performance as the cartridge treats more water.

The treatment point matters

Whole-home and kitchen treatment address different positions along your home’s water path.

At the inlet

Whole-home treatment acts on water entering the property.

Along the pipework

Water continues to contact fittings and pipes after the inlet filter.

At the kitchen tap

Suitable drinking-point treatment can address concerns nearer the final outlet.

In the chosen cartridge

Verify each target separately, including lead and the relevant arsenic forms.

RedoxFusion Plumbing banner – filtration concept

Consider the last stretch of plumbing

Lead can enter water from fittings downstream of an inlet filter. A specific drinking-water concern may call for suitable treatment at the kitchen tap.

RedoxFusion Combined solution banner – filtration concept

Whole-house filtration with optional kitchen treatment

We can assess both treatment locations and quote a combined solution where it suits your water and property.

RedoxFusion™ questions, answered

Which substances are covered?

The selected product defines its targets; lead and arsenic need separate evidence.

Can I rely on a micron rating?

A particle rating alone does not establish dissolved-contaminant treatment.

Is RedoxFusion™ a material name?

It names WAA’s targeted-media approach; the actual formulation varies by product.

Do I need a water test?

Testing may be needed to identify the substance, form and suitable treatment.
