WAA RILL™ Gen 2 Whole House (UV) Filtration System (POE 4)
Make more of the rain your home collects. WAA POE 4 combines the same three-stage filtration used in POE 3 with an additional UV disinfection stage, creating a four-stage treatment system matched to your water quality and household needs.
-
Three stages of filtration. An added layer of UV treatment.
Following the first three filtration stages, a 48W UV lamp provides an additional disinfection step. UV light acts on microbial DNA or RNA, helping prevent microorganisms from reproducing. A 304 stainless steel chamber, digital display and audible lamp-replacement alerts support ongoing operation and maintenance. -
98.5% free-chlorine reduction at 50,000 litres.
The tested sintered-carbon filter achieved this result at the 50,000-litre cumulative treatment checkpoint under high-flow laboratory test conditions.
Filtration performance studied in collaboration with Curtin University.
The study assessed POE filtration and a combined POE plus under-sink RO setup using real Australian source-water samples from multiple communities, including groundwater. An authorised, NATA-accredited Eurofins laboratory independently analysed the samples.
-
Reported reductions:
- POE + under-sink RO: over 99.9% nitrate-nitrogen reduction and over 95.8% uranium reduction.
- POE: 98.4% nitrate-nitrogen reduction and 75% uranium reduction.
NSF certification supports our material selection.
From filtration media to water-contact components, we select materials and components with relevant NSF certification, providing verifiable documentation to support material quality
UNSW (The University of New South Wales) tested cartridges supplied by WAA to help guide material selection for treating PFAS, nitrate, fluoride and metals. Under laboratory study conditions, a WAA-supplied research cartridge achieved
- 98.9%–99.9% reduction across four tested PFAS compounds — PFOA, PFHxS, PFBS and PFNA
- 98.4% nitrate reduction & 99.6% lead reduction.
Laboratory results relate to the tested samples and research configurations. Actual performance depends on the fitted cartridges, water quality, flow and maintenance. UV performance also depends on water clarity and correct operation.
