These terms govern individual replacement filters, finite purchases of one, two or three filter sets, and WAA twelve-month filter repayment. A filter package does not automatically renew. Your accepted order identifies its filters, quantities, payment option and total price.

The new filter pricing and calculation method apply to subsequent filter replacement orders for all new and existing customers. Customers already on a subscription under WAA's previous charging model continue at their original subscription price. Orders already accepted or paid for retain their agreed prices and are not retrospectively recalculated under this update.
The pricing update does not remove an earlier warranty, paid entitlement or non-excludable right. Any change to an existing agreement requires an appropriate separately agreed variation.
B1 What you are buying
A set means the listed replacement filters for the systems selected in your order. You may buy one, two or three sets. Buying sets is a finite purchase, not an automatically renewing subscription or a promise of fixed yearly usage.
A set estimates approximately 12 months of replacement needs; actual water quality and use may require earlier changes. POE Stage 1 PP is normally changed every six months. A listed set includes one PP unless the order says otherwise; an additional PP is purchased separately unless supplied under a qualifying Life Care entitlement.
A POE 4 UV set includes two WAA 48W UV lamps for a 53 mm chamber. The current individual price is $140 including GST per lamp. Both lamps are dispatched together with that set, but are fitted one at a time, normally six months apart. Do not fit both together or treat one lamp as a guaranteed 12-month replacement. Store the second unused lamp as instructed.
Your order identifies each filter and quantity. Sets can be used for compatible machines without a restriction that all sets serve one machine in successive years. Under Sink RO 3 system packages require POE prefiltration; individual compatible replacement parts may still be purchased separately.
B2 Prices and discounts
For an eligible package, the base for one set is the sum of its listed individual filter prices. Where eligible Life Care pricing applies, the POE PP component is set to $0 before calculating the discount. Other components remain chargeable.
Upfront purchase of one set receives 30% off the base; two sets receive 40% off each set; three sets receive 50% off each set. The total payable for filters is the discounted per-set price multiplied by the number of sets. Discounts are applied directly to the base and are not stacked.
For eligible 12-month repayment purchases, the filter discount is 20% off the base for each set, whether you buy one, two or three sets.
A single-filter Benchtop product purchased without a POE whole-house system does not qualify for these package or repayment discounts. Buying multiple such Benchtop filters or machines does not create a discount. A qualifying POE package containing a Benchtop filter uses the package calculation for its included components.
POE 4 UV has no Life Care or free-PP reduction. Prices include GST and standard filter freight. On-site services and separately agreed charges are not discounted as filter components. The accepted order fixes the prices and total.
B3 Delivery and later collection of sets
You may request all purchased sets together or complete sets separately when needed. Each set is supplied together; its individual components are not separately released on demand. In particular, both UV lamps in one POE 4 UV set travel together. Standard delivery is included for each agreed set release. For repayment, delivery may begin after the first payment is received, subject to stock and the agreed request; all 12 payments need not be completed first.
Unclaimed purchased sets do not automatically expire. WAA provides reminders and will actively follow up outstanding sets at 24 months for a one-set purchase, 36 months for two sets and 48 months for three sets, measured from purchase. These are follow-up points, not forfeiture dates.
Stock is not necessarily reserved physically for the whole period. A much later request may involve a delay. We will explain availability and the expected next step. If an original filter is discontinued, we will discuss a suitable compatible replacement. If we cannot fulfil the outstanding supply within a reasonable time, we will address a refund or other remedy for the unfulfilled part. A WAA inability to supply is not your change-of-mind cancellation and does not attract the $50 fee.
Keep your address current and store unused filters as instructed. Buying or receiving two or three filter sets does not immediately grant two or three years of extended warranty. Eligibility follows the actual maintenance of the registered machine. Compatible prepaid filters already held by WAA or properly stored at your home can be used when due; a new purchase each year is not required for those unused filters.
Record the actual replacement date and keep reasonable evidence, such as dated photographs, your replacement record, the WAA purchase record or a service invoice. When WAA makes customer App replacement Activities available, complete the Activity after fitting the filters, using the actual replacement date. Until that facility is available, submit records to WAA customer service. An Activity records maintenance; clicking it does not itself replace a filter or create cover inconsistent with the actual history.
The 24, 36 and 48-month follow-ups concern unclaimed supply. They do not extend a maintenance deadline or expire paid filter entitlements.
If you make a timely, reasonable filter-release or service request before the applicable maintenance deadline, a WAA stock, dispatch or service delay will not by itself end your additional-cover eligibility. Contact us so we can record the cause, give safe interim instructions and agree a reasonable completion deadline.
B4 Twelve month repayment
This is a WAA arrangement to pay for a defined filter order in 12 monthly instalments through our website payment process. It does not automatically renew. The payment schedule states the total, dates, authorised payment method and monthly amounts.
The displayed monthly estimate is the total divided by 12, rounded to two decimal places. The payment schedule may make a small final adjustment so the payments equal the agreed total exactly. For example, a $1,232 total may display $102.67 per month, with a four-cent adjustment to the final instalment.
Receiving filters before the last payment does not remove the obligation to pay for them. Contact us before cancelling a payment authority so we can determine the outstanding balance and any agreed cancellation under B6. No early-settlement fee applies. No routine monthly interest is added to the agreed purchase price; the late-payment charge below is separate.
B5 Late payments
If a payment is missed, we will notify you and ask you to bring the order up to date. Where the order remains overdue after the notice and a 14-day opportunity to remedy, a $10 late-payment fee may apply once per monthly billing period for that overdue order, to the extent permitted by law. It is not $10 per missed instalment within the same billing period. Fees do not attract interest. This fee does not create warranty entitlement.
Contact us if you dispute the amount or are experiencing financial hardship so we can review the account and discuss an appropriate arrangement. We may pause further unshipped sets on the affected unpaid order after notice. We will not treat an unrelated fully paid order as unpaid. Cancelling the remaining supply requires an account reconciliation; it does not automatically erase the price of filters already received.
Late fees do not attract interest. This clause does not create a right to remove installed equipment or impose an unagreed acceleration of payments. Lawful collection or enforcement must follow the applicable process.
B6 Voluntary cancellation of remaining filters
This policy applies when you no longer want unclaimed replacement filters, including because you move. It does not apply to whole-system purchases or statutory remedies for faulty goods, failed services or WAA's inability to supply.
If no set has been received, the refund is the amount paid for the cancelled filter supply less one $50 administration fee. If that amount paid is $50 or less, no refund is due and there is no further administration-fee shortfall to pay. Future payments for the cancelled filter supply stop once the cancellation is reconciled.
If some sets have been received, those sets are retained and repriced at the applicable upfront discount for the number retained: one set at 30% off; two sets at 40% off. Use the applicable individual prices and Life Care status recorded when the original order was accepted. Standalone single-filter Benchtop purchases remain undiscounted.
From the filter payments received, deduct the recalculated value of retained filters and one $50 administration fee. A positive balance is refunded. If payments received are insufficient, you must pay the shortfall to complete the agreed cancellation of the remaining supply and repayment balance. We provide the calculation before completing the cancellation. An order with all sets already received has no unclaimed sets to cancel under this policy.
The voluntary cancellation calculation uses complete sets received, because each set is supplied together. Filters delivered but still stored unused at home have been received; they are not unclaimed stock held by WAA. A missing, incorrect or damaged shipment is a fulfilment or fault issue, not a completed set for this cancellation policy. Separately ordered service and other lawful charges are itemised; payment for completed agreed service is not treated as unused filter money. Cancelling unclaimed supply does not erase truthful completed maintenance records or automatically remove an already approved fault remedy.
B7 Optional on site filter service
The standard on-site filter change is $200 including GST, additional to filters, for one attendance at an eligible Metro address within 50 km driving distance of the servicing WAA office. The booking identifies the office, address, machines and one filter set to be changed.
One set means the agreed package at that address: it can cover POE only, POU only, or the POE and POU components of the same package during that attendance. The $200 is not automatically charged once per machine within that booked set. Additional sets or separate visits require their own agreed scope and price.
The usual filter-change allowance is 30 minutes. If the agreed filter replacement alone takes longer, WAA does not charge extra solely for that additional time. Components due at a later date are not fitted early simply because they were supplied together.
Repairs or work beyond the agreed filter change require an in-person explanation and quote, accepted by you before that extra work starts. More distant locations require a separately agreed quote. Routine service is not included in Life Care or prepaid filter prices. Necessary covered warranty repair is handled separately under Consumer Terms A7 and A8.
B8 Accounts safe replacement and fault claims
You must be at least 18 and have capacity to enter a repayment agreement. Provide accurate contact, address and payment information and keep it current. The payment mandate authorises the agreed schedule only; a new order or renewal requires its own acceptance.
Follow model-specific filter identification, hygiene, flushing and replacement instructions. Use an appropriately qualified person for work that requires one. Tell us about a suspected fault rather than continuing to use unsafe equipment. Damage caused by incorrect third-party work will be assessed by cause, rather than treating all third-party work as an automatic loss of product rights.
Reasonable evidence includes dated customer replacement records, photographs and service invoices; a plumber invoice is not the only acceptable proof. Record the actual replacement date separately from submission. Consumer Terms A9 and A17 govern component deadlines, PP treatment, WAA delay protection and case-by-case eligibility reviews. Covered defects follow A7 and A8; routine service is separate.
B9 Existing orders and general provisions
The new filter pricing and calculation method apply to subsequent filter replacement orders for all new and existing customers. Customers already on a subscription under WAA's previous charging model continue at their original subscription price. Orders already accepted or paid for retain their agreed prices and are not retrospectively recalculated under this update.
The pricing update does not remove an earlier warranty, paid entitlement or non-excludable right. Any change to an existing agreement requires an appropriate separately agreed variation. Existing subscription, service and warranty obligations continue under the agreement accepted for that order.
The accepted order and these terms identify the finite supply and payment obligation. The Consumer Terms and Conditions govern general sales issues; clauses C1 to C9 of the Consumer Terms govern additional eligible Life Care benefits. If a specific filter rule differs from a general sales rule, the specific rule governs that subject, subject always to non-excludable rights.
Failure to exercise a right is not itself a waiver. An unenforceable provision is severed only to the necessary extent. New South Wales law applies subject to mandatory laws and remedies available in your location. Please contact WAA first about a dispute; this does not prevent access to a competent consumer agency, tribunal or court.
